Waiting...

I've spent my whole life waiting. Waiting to go to "big school," waiting to go to college, to get married, to have a family, to buy a house. You name it I've probably waited for it... I studied "waiting on The Lord" once but I think I may have overdone it.

In hind sight it appears that I should have waited on one thing and that's The Lord!! Everything else that depended on other than The Lord has left me sad, broken, facing backwards or completely back at the beginning.  

It would benefit young women to pursue their dreams but don't focus so hard that you miss the opportunity to become your best self. Never let what you think should happen to cloud the opportunities for today. 

Tomorrow will be yesterday then yesterday becomes last week and last year etc... Carpe diem!!!! Keeping your head high but not so high that you miss what's on the ground!
