Valerie Spivey Danzy
Valerie Spivey Danzy continuously works behind the scenes in various capacities of music and business to ensure that things are done efficiently and in an expert manner. Her strength is organization and has worked many years "putting out fires” for various companies to create streamed functioning. Danzy is a diverse person in many ways. With many years experience as a radio announcer and producer for Gospel radio, her interest in this field is clearly not accidental but evidence of a greater plan inspired by God and further pursued through her degree in Mass Communications particularly Broadcasting, Journalism and Speech Communications, at the University of Arkansas. Danzy also has spent time as a voice talent for various secular and religious Broadcast productions and as a lecturer for various denominations in music, women’s ministries and other ministries. Her major area of focus has been Media/Public Relations with a background in promotions that include promoting such acts as Yolanda Adams, Karen Clark-Sheard, Gregg “Happy Guitar” Haynes, Vickie Winans and others. She has sung background for such gospel industry giants as Kim Burrell, James Moore, Timothy Wright, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Dorinda Clark-Cole, James Hall and countless others. This love of media continues through her participation in the wave of Podcasts. She can be found on Spotify, Apple and through many other venues that carry podcasts. Look for the ministry Podcast of MarVal Ministries that features Elder Mark along with Valerie Danzy and the comedy conversational show called Petty and Particular that features the YouTuber Rambling Kai and Valerie Danzy. Danzy, who is a licensed Evangelist, serves her local church as an Executive Ministry Coordinator overseeing several departments. For the International Music Department Church of God In Christ, she serves as the Assistant to IMD Vice President Rosalind Sanders Jones and Executive Board Member for the Southern Region. Formerly serving as an Administrative Support Staff member in the office of the International Minister of Music, Dr. Judith C. McAllister. Her current work has given her many opportunities to be noticed on both local and national levels in the music industry. She has previously served as Jurisdictional Commissioner of Communications and as the Jurisdictional Minister of Music for Arkansas Second Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ. LLC featuring The Answer Salon by KayStephan, MarVal Ministries and KayStephan Media is a product of her entrepreneurial spirit, having been raised in a family of entrepreneurs, Danzy brings a strong background in corporate and entrepreneurial business implementation, bookkeeping, clerical, human resources and management. Having been self-employed for most of her adult life, working in an entrepreneurial environment is something that is second nature and provides a great training and mentoring touch to aspiring entrepreneurs, musical artists and women. As a licensed Cosmetologist Danzy's creative expressions are vividly displayed through her imaging, makeup and hair which lead her to provide stylist services for photo shoots, musical events and theatrical performances. Personally, Danzy is the wife of Elder Mark Danzy, daughter of Evangelist Donna & Deacon Larry Robinson, granddaughter of Bishop Donne and Madame Irma Lindsey and mother of Kailah Savage and Domonique Danzy. She loves to sing, pray, study her areas of interest, entertain, fellowship, travel and show the love of Christ in as many ways as she can.
