Our Service Guarantee
We desire to ensure you are satisfied with your experience at The Answer Salon. If you are unsatisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.
Right to Refuse Service
The Answer Salon by KayStephan reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our team.
ReservationsWe highly encourage you to request a reservation through our online booking site, so that you can view availability of your preferred artist. You can also call the salon at 501-313-1156.
Online SchedulingYour reservation request will be scheduled based on Stylist availability.
Your request IS NOT APPROVED until you receive confirmation from The Answer Salon by KayStephan. A credit card is required to make a reservation and it will be kept on file for future reservations and any fees that may be incurred.
Our goal is a customized experience and product that works for our clients. To ensure the utmost level of service, an in-person consultation is included in every new guest service appointment. As part of our The Answer hair consultation experience, the stylist will contact the client before the first visit to say hello and gain insight into hair goals. Our providers strive to learn about your hair and to create a look that fits your lifestyle. We value your time and the time of other guests so, all new guest reservations require a credit card upon booking.
Cancellation Policy
Please refer to our cancellation policy if you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation. All services will require a deposit if there is more than one last-minute cancellation. Extended specialty color services, major color corrections, straightening services, and extensions require a consultation and a 50% deposit of the anticipated amount. All deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. These appointments must be canceled 72 hours before your initial appointment. Anything after that you will lose your deposit and will be charged a 50% fee of the anticipated service amount at your service provider’s level.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
24 HOURS: We ask for at least a 24-hour cancellation notice for all salon services. Anything after 24 hours is harder for the service provider to re-book and cancelled same day would entail a cancellation fee that will be charged to the card on file.
SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS:
1ST SAME DAY CANCELLATION will be subject to pay 25% of the service cost. We strive to provide our guests with the highest quality service and therefore must protect the time of our service providers and respect other guests’ scheduled appointment times.
2ND SAME DAY CANCELLATION will be subjected to pay 50% of the service cost
3 OR MORE SAME-DAY CANCELLATIONS will be subjected to pay 100% of the service cost
EXTENSION / TEXTURE CANCELLATIONS must be before the 72-hour window. Anything after that you will lose your deposit and will be charged 50% fee of the anticipated service amount at your service provider’s level. The same day is from midnight until the scheduled appointment time. Guests who cancel the same day of the service will have a notation made in their file and receive an email outlining The Answer’s cancellation policy is subject to a required deposit on future appointments. We understand emergencies happen, so in these rare cases, management will review and decide upon cancellation charge waivers. In the case of inclement weather where school systems close early or roads are deemed unsafe for driving, we will waive the same-day cancellation fee.
NO SHOWS: If you do not show up for an appointment, without contacting the salon, you will be automatically charged 100% fee of the anticipated service amount at your service provider’s level and will be required to deposit 50% of the service amount for your next appointment reservation.
CREDIT CARDS: All services are by appointment only, and reserved by a credit card. For current clients who do not have a credit card on file, please add a credit card to book any future appointments.
DEPOSITS: Any guest who cancels the same day more than 2 times will be required to put a minimum of a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit for every future appointment.
RIGHT TO SERVICE: Service providers reserve the right to refuse service for guests with excessive or subsequent last-minute cancellations or no-shows.
Late ArrivalsAt The Answer, everyone’s time & preferences are our top priority. Being on time is greatly appreciated. Timeliness ensures consistency and quality of service, as well as being a courtesy to other Salon guests. Please note late arrivals may be subject to a shortening of service offerings, a fee to compensate for the time, or a rescheduling of your appointment.
Refunds
All services are non-refundable. However, we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge, if we determine it is needed.
The service must have been a mistake from the service provider, not something you might have changed your mind about (after the service has been performed). In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 48 hours to contact the Salon for complimentary service to adjust the dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past the initial service date. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Clothing Protection The Answer Salon will not be held liable for any staining or damages to clothing. Please make sure that you wear items that are comfortable and not something that will not be of value if they get stained or damaged in the process of styling.
As It Relates to Kids…We happily welcome children to our Answer experience for any service. Please note that all children 18 and under receiving services must have a parent or guardian present at the time of service with certain exceptions after discussion. To ensure the highest level of attentiveness between our guests & stylists, and as a consideration to other guests, we recommend that children visit only when receiving services. We understand snow days and life can happen, so if your child must accompany you, be mindful that the salon environment contains sharp objects, hot tools, and chemicals potentially dangerous to unattended children. Some appointments can take an average of 6+ hours per visit. We thank you in advance for helping us keep your child’s safety a priority.

If you are unsatisfied with the quality of any service please notify us within 1 week and we will consult to determine how we may adjust your service accordingly. No refunds or credit for services will be given, but our artists’ top priority is 100% happy, defined guests and to ensure your satisfaction with your service results.
Gratuity
Gratuity is not included in any services, packages, or gift cards. As always, gratuities are discretionary and always appreciated. Cash is appreciated and gratuities can also be added to your card.
Confidentiality/Privacy Policy
We know privacy is equally as important to you as it is to us. The Answer Salon will not share or sell guest information to any outside party, and the collection of personal information is for client profile services only. Online bookings are through a secure site and credit card information is never stored or visible in the client profile. Personal data is collected for information and notifications such as email and text confirmations, generic feedback purposes, and general statistical analysis.
Accepted Forms of Payments
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, CashApp, Chime, Venmo, Apple & Google Pay, and cash. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.
